WHO IS STUDIO PILATES FOR?

Studio Pilates classes are suitable for everyone. Regardless of your age or condition, we adapt the exercises to suit you. Whether you are a cyclist or runner looking to perform better or are rehabilitating following an injury, Studio Pilates will help you recover and perform better. Studio Pilates is ideal if you’re coming back from injury, or you want to improve your posture, physique and/or performance with more variety and personal expert attention. Studio Pilates is also an ideal and safe form of exercise if you are pregnant.

WHAT IS STUDIO PILATES?

Studio Pilates is a fun and challenging circuit class. It’s a full-body workout on the Pilates studio equipment such as the reformer, trapeze table, chair, and ladder barrel. Studio Pilates is a targeted workout with powerful cross-training benefits. The focus is on strength, mobility, endurance, body alignment and breath control, building strength without bulk to create a sleek and toned body.

Studio Pilates classes are all about variety, using the different pieces of Pilates equipment means you can achieve so much more from each class you attend. The classes are a great way to improve your flexibility, become fitter and to promote better posture and ease of movement. Each fully supervised Studio Pilates class will help you get stronger, improve your flexibility and be less prone to injury and back pain.

To keep things personal, each studio pilates class has a maximum of 6 participants. Classes start from £24 with a multi class pass. If you’re new to Moss Pilates, you can get 2 classes for £34 with our Introductory Offer.

WHY STUDIO PILATES AT MOSS PILATES?

The small group environment gives you a full-body Pilates session, with a Polestar Pilates teacher there to supervise and modify your movements for maximum benefit. Our Studio Pilates classes provide you with a mind-body experience that will dramatically change the way your body looks and feels. And you get to work out with the full Pilates apparatus at a fraction of the cost of a private session. At Moss Pilates we focus on form – quality rather than quantity.  Exercises are performed in a rhythmic way with an emphasis on breath and good body alignment that will help to give you better body awareness.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR MY STUDIO PILATES CLASS?

First and foremost you should know that you’re going to love it! During the class you will have the opportunity to exercise on all of the studio equipment under the guidance of one of our experienced Pilates teachers.  No previous Pilates experience is necessary. You will be shown how to do each exercise which can be modified to make the experience either easier or more challenging depending upon your individual goals.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO STUDIO PILATES CLASSES?

The best thing to wear to Pilates classes is what you makes you feel comfortable and allows you to move freely. Most of our clients wear leggings or shorts with a t-shirt. One thing you won’t need is shoes. Pilates classes happen in socks or bare feet, whichever you prefer. We have male and female changing rooms with water fountains available.
